I have been practicing in Spartanburg, SC since 2016, and enjoy serving a range of client demographics and presenting problems. I have certification in AutPlay therapy for neurodivergent children, and am trained in the Safe and Sound Protocol to support clients in attaining better autonomic nervous system regulation. I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma and other persistent challenges. My priority is to provide a safe, validating space for clients to get to know themselves better and address the concerns that brought them to counseling. Accelerated Resolution Therapy® (ART) is a brief, structured psychotherapy that helps people resolve distressing memories and symptoms by reprocessing how those memories are stored in the brain; often in as little as one session. ART integrates eye-movement techniques with image rescripting to reduce emotional and physiological reactivity while clients stay in control throughout the process. Through ART, clients are able to erase negative images associated with memories, resulting in the elimination of corresponding triggers while preserving the factual memory.
